Our team of experts is dedicated to creating a memorable experience for all our clients, from a small speaking gig to a rock concert to a large conference featuring speakers from across the country. No detail is too small when it comes to creating an experience that helps you reach your event’s goals.

One of our biggest motivations for the work we do is a larger sense of purpose. We see all our work, be it within the church or for other events, as a way to glorify God through the talents and abilities He’s given us. We’re thankful every day for the work we do, the clients we serve, and the opportunity we have to partner alongside them.

LEADERSHIP

Chris Derstein
Chris DersteinCHIEF VISIONARY OFFICER / OWNER
As founder and owner, Chris Derstein serves as Chief Visionary Officer for Relevant Audio + Visual. After nearly a decade touring with a worship band as keyboardist and audio engineer, Chris founded Relevant Sound Company. The company later expanded to offer full lighting and video production, leading to its new name, Relevant Audio + Visual. A native of El Dorado, Chris enjoys playing keyboards and flying remote control airplanes, and loves spending time with his wife, Amy, and their three children.
Brandon Deibler
Brandon DeiblerDIRECTOR OF PRODUCTIONS & DESIGN
Brandon Deibler came to Relevant Audio + Visual from Pathway Church in Wichita, where he served for nine years as Next Generation Technical Director. Prior to his time at Pathway Church, Brandon was Production Lead at Murdock Theater, and also worked with the Miss Cheney Lake Pageant. A native of Cheney, Brandon enjoys gardening, maintaining a saltwater reef, and roasting his own coffee. He and his wife, Amy, have one daughter, Shaylee.
Levi Miller
Levi MillerDIRECTOR OF SALES & INSTALLATIONS
Levi is excited to use his 14 years of experience to continue building on Relevant Audio + Visual’s strong foundation of helping clients find the perfect system for their needs. He has worked numerous live events and installs, which will give his clients versatile and valuable insight. Levi earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Emporia State University. He loves to travel with his wife Amanda and spend time with his three children, Lathan, Callan and Rowen. Levi “feels the force” as well, during his weekly Star Wars Tabletop RPG games with friends.

Alyssa Butler
Alyssa ButlerADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Alyssa Butler is excited to join Relevant as Administrative Assistant. A lover of helping people, she brings over a decade of experience in marketing and retail and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science from Wichita State University and an Associate’s of Science from Cowley County Community College. Alyssa is passionate about dance and performing, having been involved in dance for 24 years, and teaches dance at Paquita Dance Center. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband, Mark, and other family members, loving on her two dogs (Demi and Kira), being outdoors, and trying local restaurants.
Ethan Neuway
Ethan NeuwayPRODUCTION MANAGER / AUDIO ENGINEER
Ethan Neuway serves as Production Manager and Audio Engineer for Relevant Audio + Visual. Prior to joining the Relevant team, Ethan worked as a Production Assistant at Pathway Church in Wichita, where he oversaw production for student worship services as well as audio from Pathway’s broadcast location. Additional experience includes working as an independent contractor and freelance audio engineer. A native of Austin, Texas, Ethan has spent most of his life here in Wichita. Ethan enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and girlfriend. His hobbies include traveling, mixing music, and savoring specialty coffee.
Matt McKay
Matt McKayWAREHOUSE MANAGER / VIDEO ENGINEER
Matt McKay serves as Warehouse Manager and Video Engineer. Matt brings with him a wealth of experience in warehouse and inventory management, LED walls, and touring production. He previously served as Assistant Director of Video for Athletics at Hutchinson Community College. A graduate of Maize High School, Matt enjoys working on his project cars, woodworking, and spending time with his beloved Labrador, Bruno. He’s excited to continue growing his skill sets with Relevant and to return to creating experiences that move!
